OPERATING PROCEDURE- Remove the trim using the screwdriver Fas a lever.- Release the bolts using the wheelbraceE.- Position the jackC atone ofthe four locationsprovided on the underframe near the wheels.Ifyou have a retractable sill,the jack must be positioned at 45°.- Extend the jack using the ratchet wrenchBuntil thewheel is a few centimetres off theground.- Unscrew thebolts fully and change the wheel.Changing a wheel

FITTING THESPARE WHEEL- Put the wheel in place on the hub and startscrewingin the bolts by hand.- Carry out an initial tighteningof the bolts using the wheelbrace E.- Lower the vehicle completely by folding the jack, then remove the jack.- Tighten the bolts again using thewheelbraceE, tighten them fully without forcing them.- Stow the wheel to be repaired at the rear of the vehicle.- Hook the supportH and screw in the handle G.- Insert the socket A in the hole then screw in the bolt, usingtheratchet wrench B, to raise the wheel.- Stow the toolsandthetrim.Never go underneath a vehiclesupported onlyby a jack(use anaxle stand). 6. REFITTING THE REPAIRED WHEELRefitting of thewheel is identical to step5,donot forget to refit the wheel trim.Refer to the "Identification features" section of chapter 9to locate thetyre label.ChangingawheelThesparewheel is not designedto beused over long distances. Havethe tighteningofthe bolts and pressureof the spare wheel checkedby a PEUGEOT dealer without delay. Also, have the original wheel repairedand refitted byaPEUGEOT dealer as soon aspossible.
