ASSISTANCEIf the vehicle breaks down, press button 2 formore than 2 seconds to request assistance(confirmed by a voice message*3).Pressing again immediately cancels therequest.Privacy mode allows you to manage thelevel of sharing (data and/or location)between your vehicle and PEUGEOT.It can be configured in the Settings touchscreen application.If you purchased your vehicle outside thePEUGEOT dealer network, you are invitedto have a dealer check the configuration ofthese services and, if desired, modify it asrequired. In a multilingual country, servicescan be configured to use the official nationallanguage of your choice.For technical reasons and in particular toimprove the quality of telematics servicesprovided to customers, the Manufacturerreserves the right to carry out updates to thevehicle's on-board telematics system at anytime.During an update to the vehicle's on-boardtelematics system, the ASSISTANCEsystem will be unavailable.If you benefit from the Peugeot ConnectPacks offer with the SOS and AssistancePack included, there are additional servicesavailable to you in your personal space, viathe website for your country.For information about the SOS andAssistance Pack, please refer to the generalconditions for these services.Event Data Recordingsystem(Depending on country of sale)This vehicle is fitted with an accident datarecording system, also called Event DataRecorder (EDR).This system gathers and records certain vehicledata over a short period (a few seconds) before,during and after an event such as an accident orcollision.In order to gain a better understanding ofthe circumstances surrounding the event, thissystem records how the vehicle’s varioussystems are operating at the time of the event,including:– Any deployment of a restraint system (e.g.airbag, seat belt).– The status of the seat belts of all theoccupants (fastened/unfastened).– The contact or intensity of pressure exerted onthe pedal(s) engaged by the driver.– The speed of the vehicle.– The status of some driving and manoeuvringaids systems.The following are not recorded by the system:– Data on normal driving conditions, in otherwords data not directly related to the event.– Personal data on the driver and any otheroccupants.– The geographical location of the vehicle at thetime of the event.The reading of data recorded by the systemrequires the following:– Access to the interior of the vehicle or to thesystem.And– Special equipment that can be purchased fromthe manufacturer BOSCH (www.BoschCDRTool.com).Aside from the vehicle Manufacturer, otherparties such as law enforcement agencies mayaccess this data in order to analyse the event.Electronic stability control(ESC)The electronic stability control programmeincludes the following systems:– Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and Electronicbrake force distribution (EBFD).3Depending on the geographic coverage of the "eCall (SOS)" and "ASSISTANCE" systems and the official national language chosen by the owner ofthe vehicle.The list of countries covered and the telematic services provided is available from dealers or on the website for your country.Safety855
