Pedestrian horn (Hybrid,Rechargeable hybrid orElectric)This system alerts pedestrians that the vehicleis approaching (Electric), when driving inallelectric (Hybrid) or in Electric driving mode(Rechargeable hybrid).The pedestrian hornoperates once the vehicle is moving and atspeeds of up to 19 mph (30 km/h), in forward orreverse gear.This function cannot bedeactivated.MalfunctionIn the event of a malfunction, thiswarning lamp lights up on the instru-ment panel.Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.Emergency or assistancecall1.eCall (SOS)2.ASSISTANCEeCall (SOS)eCall (SOS) Your vehicle may be fitted with theeCall (SOS) system either as standard or as anoption.The eCall (SOS) system provides direct contactto the emergency services and is fully builtinto the vehicle. Operation of the system–Upon switching on the ignition, the indicatorlamp lights up for a few seconds and then goesout: the system is operating correctly.–The indicator lamp flashes red: emergencybattery is flat. This will be recharged after a fewminutes' driving.–The indicator lamp is fixed red: systemmalfunction. The emergency and assistance callservices may not work.–If the indicator lamp does not light up whenthe ignition is turned on, this is also a systemmalfunction.If the problem persists, contact a qualifiedworkshop as soon as possible.The malfunction of the system does notprevent the vehicle from driving.When an onboard system update is beingperformed, the eCall (SOS) function is notavailable.Data processingAll processing of personal data bythe eCall (SOS) function complies withthe framework for protection of personalinformation established by Regulation2016/679 (General Data ProtectionRegulation - GDPR) or by UK GDPR(Data Protection, Privacy and ElectronicCommunications) Regulations 2019 andDirective 2002/58/EC of the EuropeanParliament and the Council, and in particular,seeks to protect the vital interests of the datasubject, in accordance with Article 6 (1) d)GDPR.The processing of personal data is strictlylimited to the purpose of handling the eCall(SOS) function used with the "112" singleEuropean emergency call number.The eCall (SOS) function is only ableto collect and process the following datarelating to the vehicle: vehicle identificationnumber, vehicle type (passenger vehicle orlight commercial vehicle), fuel type or powersource, three most recent locations anddirection of travel, number of passengersand a timestamped log file of the automaticactivation of the system and its timestamp.The recipients of the processed data are theemergency call handling centres designatedby the relevant national authorities in theterritory in which they are located, enablingpriority routing and handling of calls to the"112" emergency number.Data storageData contained in the system’s memory isnot accessible from outside the system until acall is made. The system is not traceable andis not continuously monitored in its normaloperating mode.The data in the system's internal memory isautomatically and continuously erased. Onlythe vehicle’s three most recent locations,necessary for the normal functioning of thesystem, are stored.When an emergency call is triggered, thedata log is stored for no more than 13 hours.Access to dataYou have the right of access to data andas appropriate to request the rectification,erasure or restriction of processing of anypersonal data not processed in accordancewith the provisions of GDPR.
