The estimated charging time is indicatedon the instrument panel when thevehicle is connected. It may vary dependingon various factors such as the outsidetemperature or the quality of the electricitysupply. If the outside temperature is below -10°C, itis recommended to connect the vehicle assoon as possible as the charging time mayincrease significantly. The traction batterymay not charge fully.Domestic charging cable (mode 2)It is essential to avoid damaging the cableand to keep it intact. In the event of damage, do not use it andcontact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifiedworkshop to replace it.Accelerated charging unit (mode 3)Do not dismantle or modify theaccelerated charging unit - risk ofelectrocution and/or fire!To find out how it is used, please refer to theaccelerated charging unit's user instructions.Charging system(Electric)400 V electrical systemFor more information, refer tothe General recommendations onelectrified vehicles and the Specificrecommendations on rechargeable hybridor electric vehicles. The electric drive system, which operates at avoltage of approximately 400 V, is identified byorange cables and its components are markedwith this symbol:An electric vehicle’s power train canbecome hot during use and after switchingoff the ignition.Comply with the warning messages shownon the labels, particularly inside the chargingflap.Traction batteryThis battery stores the energy that powersthe electric motor and the thermal comfortequipment in the passenger compartment. It isdischarged during use, and must therefore beregularly recharged. There is no need to waitfor the traction battery to fall to its reserve levelbefore recharging. The range of the battery may vary accordingto the type of driving, the route, the use ofthermal comfort equipment and the ageing of itscomponents. The lifespan of the traction batterydepends on multiple factors, suchas climatic conditions, distance travelledand careful application of chargingrecommendations.Charging connectors andindicator lampsPractical information1797
