The traction battery's range varies depending onthe type of driving, the route and the ageing of itscomponents.The traction battery ageing depends onseveral factors, such as climatic conditionsand the distance travelled.To preserve the mileage of your vehicleand the durability of your traction battery,PEUGEOT recommends that you:– Do not expose the vehicle to temperaturesbelow -30°C and above +60°C for more than24 hours.– Do not use a generator to recharge yourvehicle's traction battery.Vehicle in storage for more than 1monthAlways park the vehicle in a place withtemperatures between -10°C and +30°C(parking in a place with extreme temperaturescan damage the traction battery).Carry out the charging procedure for thetraction battery (48V) via the accessorybattery (12V) and the DC/DC converter.Refer to the 12 V battery/Accessorybatteries section for the charging thebatteries using a battery charger procedure.Rechargeable hybrid orelectric vehicles - SpecificrecommendationsThese recommendations and specificinformation are only applicable to rechargeablehybrid and electric vehicles.They introduce the control unit (mode 2) requiredto carry out the standard charging at home.This label is intended solely for use byfirefighters and maintenance services inthe event of any work on the vehicle.No other person must touch the device shownon this label.For rechargeable hybrid versionsFor electric versionsIn the event of an accident or impact tothe vehicle’s underbodyIn these situations, the electrical circuit or thetraction battery can be seriously damaged.Stop as soon as it is safe to do so and switchoff the ignition.Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifiedworkshop.Never allow water or dust to enter theconnector or charging nozzle - risk ofelectrocution or fire!Never connect / disconnect the chargingnozzle or cable with wet hands - risk ofelectrocution!When washingBefore washing the vehicle, always checkthat the charging flap is closed correctly.Never wash the vehicle while the battery is oncharge.High-pressure washingTo avoid damaging the electricalcomponents, it is expressly prohibited touse high-pressure washing in the enginecompartment or under the body.Do not use a pressure greater than 80 barwhen washing the bodywork.Practical information172
