repair of the tyre so that you can drive to thenearest garage. It is designed to repair most punctures locatedon the tyre tread. The vehicle's electric system allows theconnection of the compressor to the 12 Vpower supply for long enough to repair a tyreafter a puncture.Only the 12 V socket located at the frontof the vehicle can be used to power thecompressor. For more information on the Tool kit, referto the corresponding section.Tyre inflation pressures are indicated onthis label. For more information on Identificationmarkings, particularly this label, refer to thecorresponding section.Should the pressure of one or more tyresbe adjusted, it is necessary to reinitialisethe under-inflation detection system. For more information on Tyre under-inflationdetection, refer to the corresponding section.Repair procedureDo not remove any foreign body (e.g. nail, screw) which has penetrated the tyre.Park the vehicle without obstructing trafficand apply the parking brake.Follow the safety instructions (hazardwarning lamps, warning triangle, highvisibility jacket, etc.) according to thelegislation in force in the country in which youare driving.Switch the ignition off.Remove the transparent cap from the bottleof sealant.Lift the protective cover before installing thebottle of sealant on the compressor.Turn the bottle of sealant over and screw it aquarter turn into the compressor.Remove the valve cap from the tyre to berepaired, and place it in a clean place.Uncoil the pipe stowed under thecompressor.Connect the pipe from the compressor to thevalve of the tyre to be repaired and tightenfirmly.Check that the compressor switch is inposition "O".Fully uncoil the electric cable stowed underthe compressor.Connect the compressor's electric plug to thevehicle's 12 V socket.Affix the speed limit sticker. The speed limit sticker must be affixedinside the vehicle in the area close tothe driver, to remind them that a wheel is intemporary use.Switch the ignition on.In the event of a breakdown204Made up of a compressor and a sealantcartridge, it allows you to carry out a temporary
Switch on the compressor by moving theswitch to position "I" until the tyre pressurereaches 2 bar. The sealant product isinjected under pressure into the tyre; do notdisconnect the pipe from the valve during thisoperation (risk of blowback). If after approximately 7 minutes, thepressure of 2 bar is not reached, thisindicates that the tyre is not repairable;contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifiedworkshop for assistance.Move the switch to position "O".Disconnect the compressor's electric plugfrom the vehicle's 12 V socket.Remove the kit.Refit the cap on the valve.Remove and store the bottle of sealant. The sealant product is harmful ifswallowed and causes irritation to theeyes.Keep this product out of the reach of children. The use-by date of the fluid is marked on thebottle. After use, do not discard the bottle into theenvironment; take it to a PEUGEOT dealer oran authorised waste disposal site.Do not forget to obtain a new bottle ofsealant, available from a PEUGEOT dealer ora qualified workshop.Drive immediately for approximately 3 miles(5 kilometres) at reduced speed (between 12and 37 mph (20 and 60 km/h)) to plug thepuncture.Stop to check the repair and the tyrepressure using the kit:• If the tyre pressure is incorrect, contact aPEUGEOT dealer to have the tyre changed.• If the tyre pressure is correct, drive a secondtime for approximately 3 miles (5 kilometres) atreduced speed (between 12 and 37 mph (20and 60 km/h)), stop then check again the tyrepressure using the kit to confirm the effectiverepair of the tyre. With a tyre repaired using this type of kit,do not exceed a speed of 50 mph (80km/h) and do not drive more than 125 miles(200 km).You must contact a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop to have the repair checkedand the tyre changed.Checking/adjusting tyrepressuresThe compressor can be used, without injectingsealant, to check and, if necessary, adjust thetyre pressures.Remove the valve cap from the tyre and keepit in a clean place.Uncoil the pipe stowed under thecompressor.Screw the pipe onto the valve and tightenfirmly.Check that the compressor switch is inposition "O".Fully uncoil the electric cable stowed underthe compressor.Connect the compressor's electric plug to thevehicle's 12 V socket.Switch the ignition on.Start the compressor by placing the switchat position "I" and adjust the pressure to thevalue shown on the vehicle's tyre pressurelabel. To deflate: press the black buttonlocated on the compressor pipe, near thevalve connection. In the event of a breakdown2058If after 7 minutes the pressure of 2 bar isnot reached, the tyre is damaged; contacta PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshopfor assistance.Once the correct pressure is reached, put theswitch in position "O".
Remove the kit and stow it.Refit the cap on the valve.Spare wheelVisit this link to view explanatory videos:http://q-r.to/bagGl9For more information on the Tool kit, referto the corresponding section.Accessing the spare wheelThe spare wheel is stored in the boot, under thefloor. To access the spare wheel, first refer to the Toolkit section.Depending on version, the spare wheelmay be a standard steel, non-standard or'space-saver' wheel. To access the spare wheel, it is imperativeto tilt the backrests of row 3 seats beforelifting the row. From the trunk, pull the side straps to unlock thebench and lift seats to access the spare wheel.Position of row 3 seats while accessingthe tools is temporary. Make sure toreposition the seats before driving.Removing the spare wheelSlacken the central nut.Remove the fastening device (nut and bolt).Lift the spare wheel towards you from therear.Take the wheel out of the boot.Putting the spare wheel back in placeThe punctured wheel cannot be put underthe boot floor. In the event of a breakdown206
Put the spare wheel back in place in itshousing.Slacken the nut on the bolt by a few turns.Position the fastening device (nut and bolt) inthe middle of the wheel.Tighten the central nut sufficiently to retainthe wheel correctly.Put the tool box back in place in the middle ofthe wheel and clip it in place.Removing a wheelParking the vehicleImmobilise the vehicle where it does notobstruct traffic: the ground must be level, stable and non-slippery.With an automatic gearbox, select mode Pto lock the wheels, apply the parking brake, unless it is set to automatic mode, and switchoff the ignition.Check that the parking brake indicator lampson the instrument panel are on fixed. The occupants must get out of the vehicleand wait where they are safe.If necessary, place a chock under the wheeldiagonally opposite the wheel to be changed, specially for electric vehicles.Never go underneath a vehicle raised using ajack; use an axle stand.Wheel with wheel trimWhen removing the wheel, first removethe wheel trim by pulling with both hands onone of the upper arms. When refitting the wheel, refit the wheeltrim, starting by placing its aperture in linewith the valve and then pushing it into placeall round its edge with the palm of your hand.– If the vehicle has steel wheels, remove thewheel trim.– If the vehicle has alloy wheels, remove thecentral bolt cover using tool 7.In the event of a breakdown2078
– If the vehicle is so equipped, fit security boltsocket 2 to wheelbrace 5 to slacken the securitybolt.– Slacken the other bolts using the wheelbrace 5only.Never use an impact wrench on thesecurity bolt socket. For petrol, hybrid and rechargeable hybridversionsPlace the foot of jack 6 on the ground andensure that it is directly below the front Aor rear B jacking point on the underbody, whichever is closest to the wheel to bechanged. For electric versionsFor front wheel to be changed, place the footof jack 6 on the ground and ensure that it isdirectly below the front Ajacking point on theunderbody. For high range electric versions, it isnormal to observe that the flexible coveris pushed by the jack when it is deployed inthe front A jacking point. For rear wheel to be changed, place the footof jack 6 on the ground and ensure that it isdirectly below the rear B jacking point on thetraction battery mounting rail.In the event of a breakdown208
