Dual-zone automatic airconditioningThis system automatically controls the activationof the air conditioning system, regulating thetemperature, air flow and air distribution insidethe passenger compartment.This system works with the engine running, butaccess to the ventilation and its controls remainspossible with the ignition on.Press the Climate application buttonto display the system controls page.1.Temperature adjustment2.Air flow adjustment3.Air distribution adjustment4.Air conditioning on/off5.Automatic air conditioning on/off andsetting(AUTO SOFT/AUTO NORMAL/AUTOFAST)6.Driver/front passenger temperaturesynchronisation7.Clean Cabin function8.Front demisting/de-icing9.Interior air recirculation10.Quick Launch function11.Rear screen demisting/de-icing12.Switching the system offTemperature adjustmentThe driver and front passenger can each choosetheir own temperature setting.The value indicated corresponds to a level ofcomfort and not to a precise temperature.►Press one of the buttons 1 (+ or -) or dragvertically to increase or decrease the value.It is possible to go beyond the minimum andmaximum values by selecting respectively Lowor High.It is recommended that you avoid a difference ofmore than 3°C in the settings for left and right.TemperaturesynchronisationThe driver side temperature setting is applied tothe passenger side.►Press button 6-SYNC to activate/deactivatethe function.The function is automatically deactivated if thepassenger uses their temperature adjustmentbuttons.Automatic air conditioningThis automatic mode ensures optimummanagement of the passenger compartmenttemperature, air flow and air distribution, basedon the selected comfort level.Ease of use and comfort58►Press button 5-AUTO to activate/deactivatethe automatic mode of the air conditioningsystem.The indicator lamp in the button lights upwhen the air conditioning system is operatingautomatically.The intensity of the automatic air conditioningis modulated by choosing one of the followingsettings:–AUTO SOFT: provides soft and quiet operationby limiting air flow.–AUTO NORMAL: offers the best compromisebetween a comfortable temperature and quietoperation (default setting).–AUTO FAST: provides dynamic and efficientair distribution.To change the AUTO mode, press button 5-AUTO successively.To ensure passenger comfort in the rear seats,favour settings AUTO NORMAL and AUTOFAST.
In cold weather with the engine cold, theair flow is increased gradually until thecomfort setting has been reached, in order tolimit the delivery of cold air into the passengercompartment.On entering the vehicle, if the interiortemperature is much colder or warmerthan the comfort setting requested, thereis no need to alter the value displayed tomore quickly reach the required level ofcomfort. The system automatically correctsthe temperature difference as quickly aspossible.Automatic air conditioningmanual settingsIt is possible to manually adjust one or moreof these functions, while the system retainsautomatic control of the other functions:–air flow.–air distribution.The indicator lamp in the "AUTO” button goesout if a setting is changed.►Press button 5-AUTO again to reactivateautomatic air conditioning.Adjusting the air flow►Press one of the buttons 2 (fan) or draghorizontally to increase or decrease air flow.It is also possible to directly press one of thevalues.Switching off the air conditioningsystemWhen the air flow is reduced to a minimum,ventilation stops.“OFF" is displayed alongside the fan.Adjusting the air distribution►Press the buttons 3 to adjust the airflow distribution inside the passengercompartment.Windscreen and side windowsCentral and side air ventsFootwellsA symbol is activated to display the presence ofblown air in the direction indicated.It is possible to activate all threebuttons simultaneously, for uniform distributionthroughout the passenger compartment.Quick Launch functionUsing the interior temperature sensor, thisfunction automatically activates:–If cold temperatures are detected (belowaround 4°C):•Heating (High)/Heated seats/Heated steeringwheel.•Air distribution towards the footwells andmaximum air flow.–If mild temperatures are detected (betweenapproximately 4°C and 35°C):•Air conditioning (AUTO FAST).•Automatic air distribution and maximum airflow.•Temperature setting at 21°C.–If hot temperatures are detected (abovearound 35°C):•Air conditioning (Low)/Ventilated seats.•Air distribution towards the side and centralvents and maximum air flow.►To activate/deactivate the function, pressbutton 10-MIN/MAX°.Ease of use and comfort593
