Mats/Pedal trimsThe use of mats or pedal trims notapproved by PEUGEOT may interfere withthe operation of the speed limiter or cruisecontrol.To avoid any risk of jamming the pedals:– Ensure that the mat is secured correctly.– Never fit one mat on top of another.Units of speedEnsure that the units of speed displayedon the instrument panel (mph or km/h) arethose for the country you are driving in.If this is not the case, when the vehicle isstationary, set the display to the required unitsof speed so that it complies with what isauthorised locally.In case of doubt, contact a PEUGEOT dealeror a qualified workshop.Legal ObligationsIn order to comply with European regulationsand for safety reasons, these functions cannotbe partially or totally deactivated by the driver :- Speed Limit Information in the Road signsrecognition system.- Active Safety Brake/Collision Risk Alert- Lane Keeping Assist- Driver Attention Warning- Parking sensors.Steering wheel withhands-on detection(with Drive Assist Plus 2.0)For more information, refer to the Generalrecommendations on the use of drivingand manoeuvring aids.The steering wheel is equipped with a hands-ondetection system to avoid distraction on the partof the driver.It is prohibited to cover or attach anything to thesteering wheel.The driver must always check thesurroundings of the vehicle and supervisethe whole manoeuvre.Any use of a system built into Drive AssistPlus 2.0 must remain under the driver’svigilance.The system also detects the presence ofhands when using the Lane Positioning assistsystem with Drive Assist Plus.The system may suffer interference or notwork correctly if:– the steering wheel is covered by someprotection.– the driver wears thick gloves (e.g. skigloves).In the event of improper detection of handson the steering wheel, Drive Assist Plus 2.0is not activated or is deactivated after a fewseconds.Installation of mechanical anti-theftdevices on the steering wheel is prohibited- risk of damage!Shortcuts for driving aidsThe full list of available driving aids can be foundin the Functions tab.Driving aids can be accessed directly to quicklyactivate/deactivate them.By default, driving aids are already stored in theShortcuts tab (e.g. Stop & Start, Lane keepingassist).Other driving aids can be added or deleted fromthis tab.It is configured in the ADAS>Func-tions touch screen application.Press the button corresponding tothe driving assistance concerned:• Full symbol: the function is added to theShortcuts tab.• Empty symbol: the function is deleted from theShortcuts tab.Check the modification in the Shortcuts tab.Driving1276
