Driving recommendationsObserve the driving regulations and remainvigilant whatever the traffic conditions.Monitor your environment and keep yourhands on the wheel to be able to react toanything that may happen any time.Drive smoothly, anticipate the need forbraking and maintain a longer safetydistance, especially in bad weather.Stop the vehicle before performingoperations that require sustained attention(e.g. settings).During long trips, take a break every 2 hours.Important!Never leave the engine running ina closed space without sufficientventilation. Internal combustion enginesemit toxic exhaust gases such as carbonmonoxide. Danger of poisoning and death!In very severe wintry conditions(temperature below -23°C), let the enginerun for 4 minutes before moving off, toensure the correct operation and durability ofthe mechanical components of your vehicle(engine and gearbox).Never drive with the parking brakeapplied. Risk of overheating anddamaging the braking system!Never park the vehicle and never leavethe engine running on a flammablesurface (e.g. dry grass, dead leaves). Thevehicle exhaust system is very hot, evenseveral minutes after the engine stops. Riskof fire!Never drive on surfaces covered withvegetation (e.g. tall grass, accumulateddead leaves, crops, debris) such as a field,a country lane overgrown with bushes or agrassy verge.This vegetation could come into contact withthe vehicle's exhaust system or other systemswhich are very hot. Risk of fire!Make sure you do not leave any item inthe passenger compartment which couldact like a magnifying glass under the effect ofthe sun's rays and cause a fire. Risk of fire ordamage to interior surfaces!Never leave the vehicle unattended,with the engine running. If you have toleave your vehicle with the engine running,apply the parking brake and put the gearboxor drive selector into neutral or position N or P(depending on version).Never leave children inside the vehicleunsupervised.On flooded roadsWe strongly advise against driving on floodedroads, as this could cause serious damage tothe internal combustion engine or electric motor,the gearbox and the electrical systems of thevehicle.Check that the depth of the water does notexceed 15 cm, taking account of waves thatmight be generated by other users.Deactivate the Stop & Start function.Drive as slowly as possible without stalling. Inall cases, do not exceed 6 mph (10 km/h).Do not stop and do not switch off the engine.On leaving the flooded road, as soon assafety conditions allow, make several light brakeapplications to dry the brake discs and pads.If in doubt about the state of your vehicle,contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifiedworkshop.Noise (Electric)On the outsideDue to the vehicle’s quiet operation whendriving, the driver must pay particular attention.When manoeuvring, the driver must alwayscheck the vehicle's immediate surroundings.Driving106
