Place the jack 2 in one of the four locations underneath the vehicle (the nearest one to the wheel to be changed). Extend the jack 2 until its base is in contact with the ground. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Access to the spare wheel andthe jack in the boot Lift the fl oor using the grip. Secure the grip behind the boot seal. Never go underneath a ve-hicle which is supported only by a jack. Park the vehicle on level, stable and non-slippery ground. Fully tighten the bolts using the wheelbrace 1 . For vehicles with steel wheels, re-fi t the wheel trim starting by plac-ing its notch facing the valve and press with the palm of the hand. For vehicles with alloy wheels, refi t the covers. Put the tool holder back in position. This helps to keep the boot fl oor in its correct position, to prevent any de-formation of the fl oor when loaded. Tighten the spare wheel securing strap to prevent noise and for your safety in the event of impact. Punctured tyre warning lamp Information on the instrument panel: Reminder: for your safety, always change a wheel: - on level, stable, non-slippery ground, - with the parking brake applied, - with fi rst or reverse gear engaged (position P for the automatic gear-box), - never go underneath a vehicle which is supported only by a jack. Tyre under-infl ation detection system warning lamp These original equipment wheels are fi tted with a pressure sensor (see paragraph "Tyre under-infl ation detec-tion"). The warning which detects the removal or absence of a wheel fi tted with the pressure sensor signals the anomaly. Have the wheel repaired and checked by a PEUGEOT dealer. After changing the wheel: - have the tightness of the bolts and the tyre pressure of the spare wheel checked as soon as possible. - have the punctured wheel repaired and refi t it to the vehicle as soon as possible. - have the spare wheel checked and replace it in its boot recess. Recommendations when usingthe temporary spare wheel * Your vehicle may be equipped with a spare wheel with a different rim to that of the standard wheel. After use, replace it as soon as possible. Follow the recommendations below to avoid any alteration in vehicle han-dling: - do not drive above 50 mph (80 km/h) , - do not fi t a wheel trim, - drive carefully, - check the infl ation pressure indicated on the label. * According to version and country.

VERY COLD CLIMATE SCREEN * The very cold climate screen is a par-tial removable cover which is clipped onto the air intake grille to prevent the accumulation of snow due to direct splashes. Once it has been fi tted on your vehicle, it must be removed when the ambient temperature rises above 10 °C again. Consult a PEUGEOT dealer. 215/55 R17 tyres cannot be fi tted with standard snow chains, contact a PEUGEOT dealer. * According to country. Special features of alloy wheels Security bolts Your wheels are fi tted with security bolts (one per wheel), placed under chrome trims which must be removed using the yellow tool, before the bolts are unscrewed using the security bolt socket and the wheelbrace 1 . Fitting snow tyres If you fi t snow tyres mounted on steel wheels onto your vehicle, it is essen-tial to use special bolts available from your PEUGEOT dealer. This security bolt socket was given to you on delivery of your vehicle with the duplicate keys. Make a careful note of the code number engraved on the head of the security bolt socket. This will enable you to obtain a duplicate security bolt socket from a PEUGEOT dealer. You are advised to do the same for the duplicate keys.
