Be careful not to open thebonnet suddenly in windy conditions or whena vehicle is approaching - Risk of damage tothe bonnet and hinges!An audible signal supplements the alert(warning lamp and message) if the speed ishigher than 4 mph (6 km/h) and the bonnet isnot properly closed.Immediately get out of the vehicle and,depending on the situation, raise and lowerthe bonnet to close it, or raise the bonnetcompletely to secure it with its stay.When the engine is hot, handle theexterior safety catch and the bonnet staywith care (risk of burns), using the protectedarea.When the bonnet is open, take care not todamage the safety catch.Do not open the bonnet under very windyconditions.Practical information194
