Switching on the lamps after switchingoff the ignitionTo reactivate the lighting control, rotatethe ring, to the "AUTO" position, then tothe desired position. If the driver's door isopened, a temporary audible signal warns thedriver that the lamps are on. They will gooff automatically after a period of time thatdepends on the level of charge in the battery(entering energy economy mode).In some weather conditions (e.g. lowtemperature or humidity), misting on theinternal surface of the glass of the headlampsand rear lamps is normal, and will disappearafter the lamps have been on for a fewminutes.Never look too closely at the light beam ofLED technology lamps - risk of serious eyeinjury!Travelling abroadVehicles equipped with Peugeot Pixel LEDheadlamps:If using your vehicle in a country thatdrives on the other side of the road, theAdaptive Frontlight System function shouldbe deactivated on the touch screen to avoiddazzling oncoming drivers.Daytime running lamps/SidelampsThese LED lamps at the front and rear of thevehicle light up automatically when the enginestarts.They perform the following functions:–Daytime running lamps (lighting control stalk atposition "AUTO" with adequate ambient light).–Sidelamps (lighting control stalk at position"AUTO" with low ambient light or "Sidelampsonly" or "Dipped/main beam headlamps").In daytime running lamps mode, the light-emitting diodes are brighter.Direction indicatorsLeft or right: lower or raise the lighting controlstalk, beyond the point of resistance.If you keep the direction indicators on formore than 20 seconds, the volume of theaudible signal will increase if the speed isabove 50 mph (80 km/h).Three flashesPress briefly upwards or downwards, withoutgoing beyond the point of resistance; thedirection indicators will flash 3 times.Parking lamps(Depending on version)Vehicle side marking by lighting the sidelampson the traffic side only.Within one minute after switching off theignition, operate the lighting control stalkupwards or downwards, depending on theside of the traffic (e.g. when parking on theright, push the lighting control stalk down tolight up on the left).Lighting and visibility714

They may also come on ifrain is detected, at the same time as automaticoperation of the windscreen wipers.As soon as the brightness returns to a sufficientlevel or after the windscreen wipers are switchedoff, the lamps are switched off automatically.MalfunctionIn the event of a malfunction of therain/ sunshine sensor, the vehicle’slamps come on and this warning lampis displayed on the instrument panel,accompanied by an audible signal and/or thedisplay of a message.Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.Do not cover the rain/sunshine sensorlocated at the top centre of the windscreenbehind the interior rear view mirror; theassociated functions would no longer becontrolled.In fog or snow, the rain/sunshine sensormay detect sufficient light. For this reason,the lighting will not come on automatically.Lighting and visibility72This is confirmed by an audible signal and thelighting of the corresponding direction indicatorlamp on the instrument panel.
