On/OffThe control buttons for each side seat arelocated at the rear of the centre console.Press the button corresponding to the seat.Each press changes the heating level; thecorresponding number of indicator lampscome on.To switch off the heating, press the buttonuntil all of the indicator lamps are off.The function status is memorised when theignition is switched off.The function is active only with the enginerunning and when the outside temperature isbelow 20°C.Do not use the function when the seatis not occupied.Reduce the heating intensity as soon aspossible.When the seat and passenger compartmenthave reached a satisfactory temperature,switch the function off; reducing electricalconsumption in turn decreases energyconsumption.Prolonged use of heated seats is notrecommended for people with sensitiveskin.There is a risk of burns for people whoseperception of heat is impaired (e.g. illness,taking medication).To keep the heated pad intact and to preventa short circuit:– Do not place heavy or sharp objects on theseat.– Do not kneel or stand on the seat.– Do not spill liquids onto the seat.– Never use the heating function if the seat isdamp.Third row seatsBefore moving the seat backwards, ensurethat there is no person or object that mightprevent the full travel of the seat.There is a risk of trapping or pinchingpassengers if present in the rear seats or ofjamming the seat if large objects are placedon the floor behind the seat.Accessing third row seatsThe third row seats are accessed via the secondrow side seats.From the outside or from the third row seats:Pull paddle D and guide the backrestforwards to tilt it and move the seat forwards.To put the seat back in place:Straighten the backrest until the seat locks.Whatever the initial position of the seat, it isplaced automatically a third of the way alongthe longitudinal adjustment range in order topreserve enough space for passengers in thethird row seats.If this system fails (paddle D),the third rowpassengers can also get out after havingfolded the backrest of the second row seatsusing strap.Do not let children operate the seatsunsupervised.Ease of use and comfort553
