!iACCESS70 ALARM System which protects and dissuades against the theft of your vehicle. It pro-vides two types of protection, exterior and interior, as well as an anti-tamper function. Locking the vehicle with full alarm Do not make any modifi cations to the alarm system, this could cause malfunctions. In order to be taken into account, this deactivation must be carried out each time the ignition is switched off. Reactivation of the interior protection Unlock the vehicle using the unlocking button on the remote control. Relock the vehicle using the remote control. The alarm is activated again with both types of protection; the indicator light on button A switches off. Locking the vehicle with exterior protection alarm only Activation Switch off the ignition and get out of the vehicle. Lock or deadlock the vehicle using the locking button on the remote control. The alarm is activated; the indicator light on button A fl ashes once per second. Exterior protection The system detects opening of the vehicle. The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to enter the vehicle by forcing a door, the boot or the bonnet. Interior protection The system detects any variation in the volume in the passenger compartment. The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks a window or moves inside the vehicle. If you wish to leave a pet in the vehicle or a window partially open, deactivate the interior protection. Anti-tamper function The system detects the putting out of service of its components. If the alarm is triggered ten times in succession, the eleventh time will result in it becoming inactive. If the indicator light on button Afl ashes rapidly, this indicates that the alarm was triggered during your absence. When the ignition is switched on, this fl ashing stops im-mediately. To avoid triggering the alarm when washing your vehicle, lock it using the key. Do not activate the alarm before disconnecting the battery, otherwise the siren will sound. Automatic operation * Depending on the legislation in force in your country, one of these cases may occur: - 45 seconds after the vehicle is locked using the remote control, the alarm is activated, regardless of the status of the doors and boot. - 2 minutes after the last door or the boot is closed, the alarm is activated. Reinitialisation If a malfunction occurs following recon-nection of the battery, the sunroof must be reinitialised: place the control in the initial position "O" , press the centre of the control for more than two seconds, wait until the roof closes completely, then, the sunroof opens again by a few millimetres. The safety auto-reverse function is not active during these operations. Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving the vehicle, even for a short time. In the event of contact during opera-tion of the roof, you must reverse the movement of the roof. To do this, press the switch concerned. When the driver operates the roof switch, he must ensure that no one is preventing correct closing of the roof. The driver must ensure that the pas-sengers use the sunroof correctly. Be aware of children when operating the roof. In the event of unwanted opening of the roof on closing (for example, in the presence of ice), and immediately after the roof stops: move the control to the "O" position and press the control immediately, continue to press the control until the roof is fully closed. The safety auto-reverse function is not active during these operations. Shutter The sunroof shutter is manual. It is stored automatically when the roof is opened. Opening Closing Take the shutter by its handle and pull it forwards to the required position. If an obstacle is encountered during operation of the shutter, the movement of the shutter must be reversed. To do this, press the control concerned. When the driver operates the shutter control, he must ensure that no one is preventing correct closing of the shutter. The driver must ensure that pas-sengers use the shutter correctly. Low fuel level Filling A label affi xed to the inside of the fl ap reminds you of the type of fuel to be used depending on your engine. When the fuel tank minimum level is reached, this warning light comes on on the instrument panel. The distance which can be travelled with the fuel remaining is approxi-mately 30 miles (50 km). If you run out of fuel, refer also to the "Practical information" section.
