PRACTICAL INFORMATION108-Fitting/removing the matWhen removing the mat on the driver’s side, push the seat as far back as pos-sible and remove the ixings.When reitting, position the mat correct-ly on the pin and clip the ixings. Check that the mat is secured correctly.To prevent the mat from becoming caught under the pedals:- only use mats suited to the ixings already present in the vehicle. It is imperative that these ixings are used.- never it one mat on top of another.- Clean off bird drop-pings, resinous depos-its, tar stains and grease marks as soon as pos-sible; (these all contain substances which can cause serious damage to the paintwork).- Do not use a dry or abrasive cloth or detergent or solvent products to clean the double lens, complex surface head-lamps as they are itted with polycarbonate glass covered in a protective inish.- Do not use petrol, oil or cloth stain removers to clean the bodywork and plastic parts of your vehicle.- To prevent the development of bodywork corrosion as a result of accidental damage (stone chips, scratches, etc.) have them repaired swiftly.BODYWORK MAINTENANCETo preserve the paintwork and the plastic trim on your vehicle, we recom-mend that you wash them regularly.- by hand: there are no speciic precautions to take;- using an automatic car wash: re-peated use of poorly maintained automatic car washes can lead to the appearance of microscopic scratches which give the paint-work a matt appearance (espe-cially visible on dark colours);- using a high pressure washer: always follow the recommenda-tions on the equipment (pres-sure and spraying distance). If there are damaged areas on the vehicle (painted bumpers or head-lamps), it is not recommended to direct the high pressure jet onto them. Wash these areas by hand.
